Choosing a new longboard is not so easy as it seems. There are so many different shapes, styles and brands… Overwhelming.
One shape is the longboard kicktail or kicktail longboard. This is the board that has a little kick at the end of the deck. You know, it goes up, a raised tail. The longboard kicktail is not totally flat like a pintail. This kicktail will help you with many things. Beginners can ride boards with or without kicktail. It is just a preference.
You can get one kicktail in the back or even two kicktails, one front and one back.
